This month of July I have many reasons to be happy with:
1) Philpost Office is now open on Saturdays. Only to limited number of branches though. Sounds good for me. Now I can occupy mailing postcards on Saturdays. :D Monday Open Hour 8:00AM Tuesday- Friday Open Hour 9:00AM.
I can see that Philpost now is improving. No more lost mails for me. New website for them and new office hours.
2) I am hosting a new swap at SWAPBOT. It is called "Beautiful Islands Postcard Swap". The name speaks for itself since the swap is only open to Islanders like me. I have set to open more topics in there!
3) I found 2 Special Postcards and I am planning on opening a lottery as a celebration of my birthday this August.
4) 4 cards coming from UK. A very special group for me at "UK x Other countries RR" in postcrossing forum because it willbe all coming from the different regions namely: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
5) Philippines Countdown is past 10, 000 postcards at Postcrossing Website. Last week one of my official card got registered.
6) Postcards from new countries for my project coming: Stamped Bosnia & Herzegovina, Cuba, Venezuela, Georgia, Bahrain, Egypt, Nicaragua, Cambodia, Chile, Macau, Ecuador, Algeria
Goal: Armenia, Montenegro, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Paraguay, Dominican Republic, Peru, Argentina, Morocco, Mauritius, Laos, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen, Qatar, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Mongolia, Bangladesh
If anyone can fulfill or send me a postcard from these countries. I will send souvenirs stamps from my country or cover or banknotes. OR I will be having postcards from Angola soon in return!
7) My box of stamped and written postcards is almost full. Got to find another cute box to store this growing collection.
8) I have seen a book of a certain Language and I am determined to buy it next time I'll be back in there.
